A fairly new product from Z-Saw, this fantastic blade cuts in any direction through all hardwoods. One of the images is of a review by the London School of Furniture Making, who were quite impressed. I suspect you too will be if you decide to buy one. Previously supplied with a traditional rattan-wrapped wooden handle, but as a result of a sharp worldwide rise in rattan prices the default from Z-Saw is now a partially rattan-wrapped handle shown above (although the fully rattan-wrapped handle is still available for the time being).
Pitch 1.2mm (20 TPI) blade length 240 mm, thickness 0.3 mm, kerf 0.43 mm.
SPECIAL OFFER. If you buy this saw with the handle, for only £6.00 including VAT you can add an interchangeable H-240 Panel Narrow blade. The Panel Narrow blade has 17 TPI so is slightly faster-cutting but still leaves a very fine finish, so is perhaps more useful for everyday jobs. It normally retails for £14.40 so this is a significant saving! (And I may occasionally substitute the slightly wider H-240 Panel Wide blade, retailing at £15.60, instead.)
