This saw has an exceptionally thin blade for minimal resistance when cutting, so can only fit a handle which has a long supporting back, like the traditional style shown. Although classed as a regular crosscut saw because of its pitch, this saw leaves an exceptionally smooth cut surface. It is also a joy to use, in my own opinion. Previously supplied with a traditional rattan-wrapped wooden handle, but as a result of a sharp worldwide rise in rattan prices the default from Z-Saw is now a partially rattan-wrapped handle shown above (although the fully rattan-wrapped handle is still available for the time being).
Pitch 1.5mm (17 TPI) blade length 240 mm, thickness 0.3 mm, kerf 0.49 mm
