As one of these blades has been discontinued and I can no longer make the set, the final utility saw set is available for £22.00 plus VAT (£26.40).
This set consists of 3 hook-fitting blades and 2 interchangeable handles: one plastic pistol-grip handle and one traditional Japanese straight wooden handle, as shown in the picture above.
The selection of blades provides something for wood, metal and plastic and would therefore make a useful addition to many people's toolboxes. You won't find anyone else in the UK selling these tools, and my exclusive price for this package is £31.20 (RRP £35.04).
Details of the included blades are as follows:
H-120 siding: A small blade designed mainly for cutting plastic and plasterboard but also very good for softwood (and with no kerf great for trimming dowels and the like). The blade is 120 mm long and 0.6 mm thick, with a 0.6mm kerf and 17 TPI.
Optionally you can add one or both of the following blades to the set:
H-240 HSS Paiman: This blade is similar to the H-240 Paiman but is designed for cutting ferrous metal. It normally sells for £9.35 + VAT (£11.22) but you can add it for just £8.00 + VAT (£9.60).
Save a further 50 pence (+ VAT) if you add both to the set.
Who or what is Woodwork Projects, you may ask. My name is Jim Morrison and I run this site as a hobby to satisfy my interests in woodworking and website design. I have been greatly assisted at shows by my wife Maggie and sometimes by a friend as well. My main payment method is PayPal, which provides assurance to potential customers that their money is safe. I can also take debit and credit card details over the phone (UK customers only) and can also accept bank transfers or cheques drawn on UK financial institutions.
