Bigger than the H-150 Dozuki in this section, but cuts just as finely. Previously supplied with a traditional rattan-wrapped wooden handle, but as a result of a sharp worldwide rise in rattan prices the default from Z-Saw is now a partially rattan-wrapped handle shown in the picture above (although the fully rattan-wrapped handle is still available for the time being).
"I am using the thinnest extra precision Dozuki for the joint cutting on my bench project and very nice it is too" said the editor of Furniture And Cabinet Making Magazine. I can't help but agree: this is truly a beautiful saw.
Pitch 1.0mm (25 TPI) blade length 240 mm, thickness 0.3 mm, kerf 0.4 mm.
SPECIAL OFFER. If you buy this saw with the handle, for only £6.00 including VAT you can add an interchangeable H-240 Panel Narrow blade. The Panel Narrow blade has 17 TPI so is slightly faster-cutting but still leaves a very fine finish, so is perhaps more useful for everyday jobs. It normally retails for £14.40 so this is a significant saving! (And I may occasionally substitute the slightly wider H-240 Panel Wide blade, retailing at £15.60, instead.)
